Mindy just finished this beautiful tropical piece. a 60″ long giclee printed canvas, gallery wrapped, and mounted on a 4″ border of white linen. I love the feeling of depth created by the floating mount in the shadow box frame. The white on white is perfect for the subject and palette of the canvas.
To create the 6’x5′ silk lined shadow box for this gown Bonnie, Mindy & Todd stacked three frames to create sufficient depth for the fullness of the gown. A beautiful reminder of a most special day.
Bonnie is preparing her seminar for an upcoming west coast event. I love seeing her creativity in practice. Take a look at how many different effects can be created by changing the mat treatment.
At 50 lbs apiece these antique ceramic pieces presented a unique challenge for Bonnie and Mindy. I think they came up with a great engineering and framing solution.
